Here's a tribute to my father, Rick Hoover, who I didn't realize was an award winning product designer until after he passed a few years ago. I helped him create all his concept drawings in Corel Draw back in 1996 that he would take to model shops and get produced. The day I saw my packaging illustration on the shelf at REI was a real moment.
